Meet Celly, a vibrant character who represents how every cell of our body is affected by our thoughts, feelings, and actions.

In How to Be Kind to Yourself, illustrated by the author’s children, Celly teaches readers what profound self-kindness in the form of physical and emotional nourishment can look like.

This meaningful and purposeful book shows Celly in different colors, each symbolizing a type of nourishment, ranging from following joy to emotional balance and listening to your body. By the end of the story, Celly shines with a brilliant mix of colors, showing us that true well-being comes from embracing our unique forms of self-care and self-kindness.

This book is a critical resource for both children and adults, offering a simple and engaging approach to exploring social-emotional learning and deeper self-care. It’s a reminder that we all need a variety of nourishing practices to thrive and be our best selves.

“How we quit soda and now manage our addiction to recreational sugar.”

This refreshingly odd and tell-all true story is an account of how a frantically busy couple learned to become better versions of themselves.

It’s also a how-to guide for others who are looking to break up with sweetened beverages, beat a soda addiction, or otherwise turbo-boost a journey toward building better habits without turning their lives upside down—complete with stories, swear words, and side quests to help you get over your challenges of healthier hydration.

A debut collection . . .

“Poetry, the brush with which I paint my internal chatter…

“Captured in these pages are my deepest and most personal thoughts and feelings lived, experienced and processed at both the calmest of moments and the most tumultuous of times.

“In writing I found ‘my thing’, an outlet, a trail that will always lead home.

“My hope is that you will have as profound of an experience reading and experiencing these poems as I have had creating them for you, that as you flip though the pages, you will cross paths with something that speaks to you on a personal level.”
